Coos Bay North Bend Water Supply Expansion Project Coos County The water supply expansion project consist of three major components: construction of a new
higher earth dam immediately downstream of the existing Upper Poney Creek Dam; improvements to the Joe Ney reservoir to augment storage of the new Upper Pony Creek Dam; and
improvements to the Dunes Wellfield. The new dam is about 28 feet higher than the existing dam and will provide a threefold increase in the storage capacity of the reservoir. Stimpel-Wielbelhaus is
the contractor for this phase. Laskey-Clifton handled the Joe Ney reservoir phase. Jensen Drilling installed the wells and Laskey-Clifton was the contractor for pipeline work .
